Stop motion in black and white? I don’t think it’s ever been done before.
I love black and white, and lately I’ve just been on this massive Tim Burton binge, so I’m really looking forward to this film… despite my disinterest in animation and childhood fear of stop-motion (long story).
Empire says, “the film will be a full-length adaptation of the short film of the same name with which the director first made waves back in 1984. That version was filmed in live-action however, whereas the new film sees Burton return to the painstaking stop-motion process used in Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
